How to use Crest Whitestrips

 

Crest Whitestrips Supreme should be worn on your upper and lower teeth twice a day for 30 minutes.  For best experience do not brush teeth immediately before applying strips.

Find zig zag slit at end of strip.  Use slit to separate strip from liner.

Place gel side of each strip on front teeth.  Align with gumline and press gently for good contact.

Fold the rest of each strip behind teeth to keep in place.

Wear strip for 30 minutes, remove and discard.

Usage options

Wearing your strips one right after the other as another option.  Just wear the strip for 30 minutes and remove it.  Rinse or wipe away the remaining gel, then apply the second strip.

Tooth Sensitivity

Temporary tooth sensitivity may develop when using Crest Whitestrips Supreme.  This is common with tooth whitening products containing peroxide and is not harmful.

If significant tooth sensitivity develops, stop using Crest Whitestrips Supreme for a few days, then use once per day.

If significant tooth sensitivity develops again, stop using Crest Whitestrips Supreme.

Cautions

Do not swallow plastic strip

Avoid eye contact.  Rinse eyes thoroughly with water if gel comes into contact with them.

Gel that comes onto contact with the skin can cause temporary skin irritation and/or whitening.  Wash hands with soap and water after applying the strips.

Keep out of reach of children

This product is not intended for use by children under 18. We recommend a lower strength Crest Whitedtrips for children ages 12-18.  Products containing peroxide are not recommended for use in children under the age of 12.

Discomfort

If you experience gum discomfort we recommend

- Not brushing immediately before applying strips

- Using a soft bristled toothbrush

- Using a mild toothpaste

- Brushing only 2 times per day whilst whitening

- If significant tooth sensitivity develops, stop using Crest Whitestrips Supreme for a few days, then use once per day.

If significant tooth sensitivity develops again, stop using Crest Whitestrips Supreme.

White fingers

Your fingertips may become temporarily white after applying Crest Whitestrips Supreme.  This is common with products containing peroxide and is not harmful.  The whiteness can be avoided by washing the gel off your fingers with soap and water after applying the strips.

Crest Whitestrips Supreme only whiten natural teeth 

The strips will not whiten caps, crowns, veneers, fillings, or dentures 

If you have any dental work on your teeth, there may be noticeable colour differences between the dental work and your whiter teeth.   

Crest Whitestrips supreme has not been observed to harm standard dental restorative materials.
